From all that dwell below the skies (Psalm 117)

Sung during the Sunday worship at the Metropolitan Tabernacle, London (Spurgeon’s).

Hymn 117 version 2 (based on Psalm 117) from our hymn book, Psalms & Hymns of Reformed Worship.

FROM all that dwell below the skies
Let the Creator’s praise arise;
Let the Redeemer’s name be sung
Through every land, by every tongue.

Eternal are Thy mercies, Lord;
Eternal Truth attends Thy Word:
Thy praise shall sound from shore to shore
Till suns shall rise and set no more.

Author: Isaac Watts (1674-1748)
Tune: Duke Street
Composer: John Hatton (1710-1793) attr.
