Safeguarding
The Tabernacle seeks to reach as many children, young people and adults as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the children’s work, this mission is largely expressed through the work of Sunday Schools, Bible Classes and weeknight meetings for all ages. Outings, parties and other special occasions are also held.
Throughout the operation of these meetings, and during the collection and transporting of children, the safety, protection and welfare of the children is the first priority.
For those aged 18 years and older, we seek to encourage attendance to our main adult worship services but also Student Focus events and outings for the elderly. Again, we are concerned to ensure our wider congregation are cared for and kept safe.
